Paint Your Own Pottery: Giving Plates

Design a Giving Plate, a traveling plate for treats that can be passed among family and friends. Decorate your pottery then add the traditional poem which begins, “This plate shall have no owner, for its journey never ends.” 

We will show you the basics of painting your piece, and then we will fire it within a week for you to come pick up. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select.  

Open to all ages if accompanied by an adult.

Walk in during open hours or join us on Friday evenings between 4 & 8pm for theme nights.
