A beginning class to learn the basics of knitting: cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off, rib stitch, increase and decrease techniques, gauge swatching, and picking up dropped stitches. Practice outside of class to get muscle memory going, and you will walk away knowing how to read knitting patterns and have a new addiction to the yarn aisle.
Open to ages 18+. Yarn will be provided but bring a pair of #7 or #8 single-point needles.
Thursdays beginning October 10, 6-7:30pm for 3 weeks
